Retread Threads  began as a vision. What could be done to make a positive influence on our community? Three goals were in mind: Offer affordable clothing and items to families in the area, provide a means for employment, have a storefront on main street to aid in Haxtun's economical development, and eventually provide funds for mission projects in our community.

With funds from a grant, a building was rented and renovated, a storage building constructed and the doors opened in 2012.
